NutriOS is a nutrition tracking tool, not a medical device or a healthcare service. Calorie, macro and portion figures in the app are estimates, and AI outputs can be wrong. Make decisions about your health together with a qualified professional.

1. Not medical advice

NutriOS does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and does not replace a doctor, dietitian or other healthcare professional. Daily calorie and macro targets are based on general formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor and similar); they do not account for your personal health status, medication, pregnancy, chronic conditions or lab results.

Consult a physician before starting any nutrition or exercise programme, especially if you have an existing health condition.

2. AI outputs are estimates

The following features use AI models and do not produce definitive results:

• Camera food recognition: estimates the dish and portion from a photo; it may misidentify the food or get the weight wrong. • AI meal plans and recipes: these are suggestions, not a personalised diet programme. • "By Mood" and "Personalised" suggestions: they select from the existing dataset.

Where possible, the values of recognised foods come from our verified database; if no match is found the model's own estimate is used and the screen says so. Checking — and where necessary correcting — every value written to your log remains your responsibility.

3. Allergen warnings — and their limits

This section matters. The app shows warnings for allergens it can detect from food names. However, an empty allergen list does not mean "contains no allergens"; it only means "none could be detected".

If you have a food allergy, do not rely on the app's warning. Read the product's own label, and ask the business when eating out. NutriOS cannot be held responsible for the consequences of allergic reactions.

4. Your account and content

You are responsible for the security of your account. If you use the community section, you are also responsible for the posts, comments and images you share. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts where content is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, is abusive, or makes misleading health claims.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: Menu → Delete Account. This action cannot be undone.

5. Availability

NutriOS is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; the service may pause temporarily for maintenance, updates or third-party outages. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits arising from use of the app. This limitation does not cover intent or gross negligence.

7. Pricing

The app is currently free to use. Paid features or a subscription may be offered in future; if that happens, existing users will be informed in advance and you will not be forced to keep using a feature that becomes paid.

8. Changes and governing law

If these terms change, this page will be updated and the date above changed. For significant changes you will also be notified inside the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
